Thank you for your interest in managing a Spring 2026 DPYB team. We have four requirements before you can take the field in addition to board approval.
The four mandatory steps for manager approval are
The division commissioner collects proof of completion certificates and will monitor preseason activities.
These trainings must be done every 12 months.
In early Winter 2026, DPYB will host a fingerprinting clinic to begin the manager background check process. This must be done for DPYB specifically and cannot carry over from other programs. You need only be fingerprinted once, but the Livescan will be reprocessed every few years.
If you cannot make our free fingerprinting session, you must go out and get the fingerprinting done and we will provide the rest of the details to complete the background check.
MANDATORY MANAGERS MEETING IS FEB. 2, 2026 AT 6PM IN THE DANA POINT COMMUNITY CENTER.

"... youth sports organizations are required to immediately remove an athlete who is suspected of sustaining a concussion or other head injury in an athletic activity for the remainder of the day. The athlete shall not be permitted to return to the athletic activity until being evaluated by, and receiving written clearance to return to athletic activity from, a licensed health care provider. An athlete who has sustained a concussion shall complete a graduated return to play protocol of not less than seven (7) days in duration under the supervision of a licensed health care provider..."
